There was an amazing turn out for the The People’s Assembly Against Austerity march over the weekend.
I joined Manchester Gorton Members, Manchester Councillors and other local MPs on the march. Over 30,000 people from across the UK came together in Manchester to send a loud and clear message to the Tories – we reject your failed austerity program and want an alternative.
The Labour Party are a government in waiting and we are ready to deliver a country that works for the many, not the few.
